DEN DU FRYGTER (FEAR ME NOT)
Sunday, September 21st, 2008

“There are people who look at life from a humorous persective and others who look at it from a dramatic point of view” Kristian Levring the director of Den Du Frygter (Fear me not) explains. In his opinion the film is basically about how each person deals with life and he thinks that the main character is to a certain extent a reflection of modern life. “He’s a man who has more or less achieved everything that he wanted . But he has reached a time in life where he has only achieved the aims he has set himself in a material sense".

This is not the only problem he has. Mikael realises that the kind of life he is leading is not fulfilling. “A lot of people ,may see themselves reflected in the film when they watch it because the basic question it asks is,“What kind of a life do I want?”
