While her husband is in jail, Noura meets Lassad. They are in love and want to live together, but Jamel is released from jail and the law says that Noura must go back and live with him. Second feature film by its director.
Hinde Boujemaa (Carthage, Tunisia. 1971) directed, in 2012, the feature-length documentary Ya Man Aach (It Was Better Tomorrow), which premiered out of competition in the Venice Festival’s Official Selection and competed in numerous international competitions. In 2014 she directed four short films in support of the fight against the discrimination and inequality faced by women. That same year her short fiction Et Romeo épousa Juliette (...and Romeo Married Juliet) won the Muhr Award for Best Short Film at the Dubai Festival, among other accolades. Le rêve de Noura (Noura’s Dream) is her first feature.
