Dirty Martini and Tigger!, stars of the New York underground scene, reveal some of the secrets of their provocative and remonstrative forms of artistic expression in New York’s Off-Off-Broadway. Meanwhile, they will help us to understand from their everyday intimacy the reasons, the struggles and the keys that keep them in their place as the figures and references of the burlesque revival, more than 20 years after the phenomenon exploded in the New York of the 90s.

BIOGRAPHY

Iban del Campo (Arrasate-Mondragón, Gipuzkoa. 1971) discovered cinema thanks to an Erasmus Scholarship enabling him to take a doctorate course at the Nouvelle Sorbonne in Paris, later enrolling in the Master’s Degree in Creative Documentary at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. He has directed and produced several fiction short films, documentaries and false documentaries which have been selected for and presented with awards at national and international festivals. His filmography as a director is made up of the short films Lo bakarrik (2008), Dirty Martini (2009), presented in Zinemira at San Sebastian, Katebegitik (2011) and Espedizio Handia (2018), also screened in San Sebastian as part of the Kimuak selection.
