Six riot police proceed with an eviction in the centre of Madrid, but things go wrong and a man loses his life. An Internal Affairs team is given the task of investigating the facts and the six riot police are accused of manslaughter. The squad set about trying to find their own way out, leading to their separation and, finally, complicating the situation even more. Laia, one of the Internal Affairs team, becomes obsessed with the case and ends up discovering that, behind the fateful eviction, there’s a lot more than meets the eye. Series of six episodes, each running for 50 minutes.
Rodrigo Sorogoyen (Madrid, 1981) began his professional career as a scriptwriter for TV series. At the age of 25 years he co-directed 8 citas (2008), his first feature film. His next movie, Stockholm (2013), won three awards at Malaga Festival, three medals from the Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos, a Feroz award (Best Film) and a Goya (Best New Actor). With Que Dios nos perdone (May God Forgive Us, 2016) he won the Jury Prize for Best Screenplay in San Sebastian and the Goya for Best Actor (Roberto Álamo). He once again competed for the Golden Shell in 2018 with El reino (The Realm), which went on to win 7 Goya awards. With Madre (Mother, 2019), a feature film based on the Oscar-nominated short film of the same name, he participated in the Orizzonti section of Venice Festival, where Marta Nieto received the Best Actress award.
