Júlia Olmo was born in Valencia. She has a Degree in Law and in Political Science from the University of Valencia, a Master in Literary Studies from the Complutense University and a Master in Film and Television from the Carlos III University in Madrid.

In 2020 she began working as a cultural journalist and film and literature critic for Cartelera Turia. She currently writes in Cineuropa and ABC Cultural. She also collaborates with other media such as Letras Libres and The Objective.
